Rodd Macklin has extensive experience in the Private Equity industry, with over 20 years as a Chief Financial Officer and 10 years as a Chief Compliance Officer. Rodd is currently the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer for NaviMed Capital Advisors, a Washington, D.C.-based, a PE firm that manages approximately $400MM of cumulative commitments and invests in the lower, middle market in the health care sector. In addition, Rodd is (i) a fractional CFO (and former CCO) of NGP Energy Technology Partners, a Washington, D.C.-based PE firm that at its peak managed approximately $500M of cumulative commitments and invests in the energy and environmental services sectors, and (ii) a fractional CFO of FJ Labs, a leading NYC-based VC firm that manages cumulative commitments in excess of $400MM and invests in marketplaces and other technology driven sectors.  Previously, Rodd was the CFO of DC-based Perseus LLC, which at its peak managed or co-managed cumulative commitments in excess over $1.5 BN.  Rodd is a CFA charterholder, a CPA (inactive) and holds a BS from the College of William and Mary and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
