David Hansen joined Kapital 1852 in 2020. He has been responsible in setting up the Private Debt division and is in charge for its continuous development. As fund manager of the private debt fund of funds “Alternative Income”, he leads the entire investment process, from sourcing new opportunities to investment decisions and downstream portfolio monitoring. David has over 8 years of professional experience in Alternative Investments, M&A, Strategy & Governance and Credit & Risk. Prior to joining Kapital 1852, he worked at Bankhaus Lampe and Santander Germany. David holds an M.Sc. in Business Administration/Finance from the University of Cologne.
