Charlotte Boylin is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department and a member of the Finance and Private Credit Groups. Her practice centers on leveraged and acquisition finance.
She represents a variety of clients, with a particular focus on alternative lenders and private credit funds. She also works with private equity sponsors and large borrower corporations.
Charlotte has guided clients in an array of transactions and financing structures in the middle and upper markets, such as national and international corporate acquisitions and refinancings, restructurings, management buyouts and buy-ins, unitranche, first out/last out and senior/super senior structures. Her experience encompasses other investment products relevant to the private credit market, including lender co-investments, note purchases and bond issuances (including subject of foreign law).
Notably, she has undertaken client secondments at two of the largest trans-Atlantic credit fund managers. Working directly with the deal origination teams, Charlotte has gained valuable insight into key commercial negotiation points on transactions. She also was one of a few women selected to be a Protégée for Proskauer’s Women Sponsorship Program, an initiative for high performing mid-senior level lawyers that champions emerging future leaders.
